Marina Shtutman | President
Originally from South Jersey, I’m proud to now call Singer Island home. My husband, Dan, our daughter, Matilda, and I are building our future here, giving me a personal investment in the long-term success of our community.
As the owner of a vacation rental management company specializing in our resort, I work with homeowners and visitors every day. That experience has given me a firsthand understanding of what makes our property successful, the challenges owners face, and the importance of maintaining a well-managed, financially responsible community.
Serving on the Board has allowed me to combine that experience with my passion for protecting our community. I remain committed to making thoughtful decisions, safeguarding our shared investment, and working to ensure our resort continues to be a place we are all proud to own and call home.

Singer Island has become a special place for my family and me, and I’m grateful to be part of this community. We first discovered the island when our son’s doctor moved his practice to the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, and what began as a search for a home away from home quickly became a place we truly love.
Professionally, I own a hospitality and vacation rental management company, where I focus on creating exceptional guest experiences, building strong relationships, and providing clear, responsive communication. Those experiences have reinforced the importance of transparency, thoughtful leadership, and serving the needs of a community.
Serving on the Board has given me the opportunity to help bring positive change, improve communication, and foster a stronger sense of community among owners. I remain committed to being approachable, listening to owners' perspectives, and working alongside my fellow Board members to protect and strengthen the community we all care about.

Theresa Manziano | Director
I have been coming to Singer Island since 1990, and over the years I have had the privilege of watching the island grow into the incredible community it is today. What began as a favorite destination has become my second home. As an original, pre-construction owner at the Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa, I have had the unique opportunity to watch our Resort evolve from the very beginning. I truly love Singer Island and believe the Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa is one of the premier properties on the island.
It is an honor to once again serve on the Board of Directors. Having previously served on the Board, I remain committed to protecting the interests of all Unit Owners and strengthening our community. I also serve as a Director on the Board of Oceantree Condominium, located at 3400 North Ocean Drive on Singer Island. My experience serving on both condominium boards has provided me with a strong understanding of condominium governance, financial oversight, owner concerns, and the importance of clear and responsive communication.
Transparency, accountability, and open communication have always been among my highest priorities. I believe every Unit Owner deserves clear and accurate information regarding matters that affect their investment and our community. I will continue to advocate for transparency while encouraging a positive and productive relationship between the Hotel Lot Owner and the Unit Owners.
I firmly believe that the Hotel Lot Owner and the Unit Owners should work hand in hand, with mutual respect and a shared vision, to protect and strengthen the Resort. By working together, we can ensure that the Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa continues to be the premier property on Singer Island.
In addition to my condominium board service, I currently serve as Deputy Mayor and Commissioner in Allenhurst, New Jersey, and have completed two years of my four-year term. My experience in municipal government has provided me with a strong understanding of government procedures, fiscal responsibility, transparency, community relationships, and the importance of listening to the people you serve.
I am grateful for the continued trust and support of my fellow owners and consider it a privilege to serve this community. I welcome your input, ideas, and questions, and I encourage you to contact me at any time. I look forward to continuing to work with my fellow Board members, the Unit Owners, and the Hotel Lot Owner to protect our investment, strengthen our community, and ensure a successful future for the Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa.
Who We Are

The Board is focused on practical, owner-centered priorities that support the long-term success of the Association:
Improving owner communication
Supporting responsible financial oversight
Preserving and enhancing the property
Encouraging owner engagement
Strengthening operational accountability
Maintaining a welcoming, resort-quality environment
-
The Board is actively working to improve the owner experience and strengthen Association operations. Current areas of focus include:
Launching a central Association website for owner resources and public information
Improving access to meeting notices, updates, and important documents
Updating owner contact information to support timely communication
Board is committed to serving as a clear and informed voice for owners in communications with the Hotel Lot Manager, advocating for transparency, accountability.
Supporting long-term planning for property maintenance and financial stewardship
-
Clear, timely communication is one of the Board’s highest priorities. The Association website, owner updates, newsletters, and meeting notices are intended to help owners stay informed, engaged, and connected.
Our goal is to make important information easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to act on.
-
The Board recognizes its responsibility to support careful financial oversight, thoughtful budgeting, and long-term planning that protects the interests of all owners.
As part of that responsibility, the Board is committed to serving as a clear and informed voice for owners in communications with the Hotel Lot Manager, advocating for transparency, accountability, and decisions that support the financial health and long-term value of the Association.
Financial matters are approached with a focus on fiduciary responsibility, sustainability, and the best interests of the ownership as a whole.
-
An informed and engaged ownership community strengthens the Association. Owners are encouraged to keep their contact information current, attend meetings when possible, review Association updates, and communicate questions or concerns through the appropriate channels.
-
The Board includes owners with a range of experiences within the condo-hotel ownership model, including owners who self-manage, owners who work with professional property managers, owners with experience managing their own units and supporting other owners, and owners who participate in the hotel rental program.
This diversity of experience is valuable because our community includes owners with different goals, preferences, and levels of involvement. There is no single “right” way to approach ownership or rental management. Each path can serve a different purpose depending on an owner’s lifestyle, priorities, and desired level of participation.
As a Board, this broad representation helps us better understand the perspectives of the ownership community as a whole and make thoughtful decisions that recognize the variety of ways owners use, manage, and benefit from their properties.
-
The Association operates under its governing documents, applicable Florida condominium law, and adopted Association policies. The Board’s role is to support consistent, fair, and practical governance in the best interest of the Association as a whole.
Public-facing documents and policy updates will be made available as appropriate.
